Men's and women's slopestyle went off today in Vail, Colorado, for the 2014 Burton US Open presented by MINI. A little snow and flat light couldn't keep these riders down, as they showed what they were made of with run after run of hammers. Whether it was the grip of triple corks being solidly thrown by the men, or the smooth spins of the women, both slopestyle events showed why the US Open is one of the best contests of the year. Mark McMorris fended off some tough challenges from Stale Sandbech and Maxence Parrot with a solid run wrapping up with one of the biggest triple corks to date. On the women's side, Jamie Anderson continued her win streak coming off Sochi with one of the smoothest runs of the day, putting some distance between her and the rest of the pack. Check out the video for the top men's and women's slopestyle runs and tune in to the live webcast tomorrow at http://www.burton.com/uso for men's and women's halfpipe finals from 1:15pm -- 6:15pm EST. It's bound to be a good show.
