Superpark Planai: Mid Winter Snowboard Session - 20/21.02.2014

Many riders of the Blue Tomato Snowboard Team, made their way to Superpark Planai to celebrate two days of happy shredding in nice springlike conditions. The main focus was on the pro jumpline, but also the rails and other features like the wallride was part of interest. Mario Käppeli was the leader of the gang, packed up by fellow shredmates Viktor Szigety, Anna Gasser and Mitja Kodric. Check out the action and make sure to stop, when you hit Schladming the next time!

Superpark Planai, part of the QParks family, is well known for its multi-obstacle and creative setup that's blessed by its sunny location in the centre of the Planai resort. There aren´t many parks like Superpark Planai, that can provide enough snow cover early in the season to build a full park setup. Like you´d imagine, a playground of this size doesn´t get built overnight; you need a truckload of design and conception work as well as communication and work processes, which aren't easily identifiable at a first glance. What's taking place behind the scenes of Superpark Planai? Which people are in charge? Which investments and visions are to be pursued and what makes the Superpark Planai a benchmark of a sustainable concept of winter sport? We´ll give you the answers to all these questions right here, right now.
