BYND X MDLS 2014 : Chilean Chillin' with Kevin Bäckström and Tor Lundström

Kevin Bäckström and Tor Lundström are back with a brand new must watch intro, and a trip to Chile in search of epic powder and fun times. IN this episode the crew took a trip to Chile with high hopes of epic powder and fun times. But not every trip can be perfect. The weather was less then desired and the crew spent a lot of down days waiting around for bluebird skys. At least fun can be had off the board if you are creative enough. When the sun finally did shine the guys made quick use of their time and stacked up enough quality shots to make this edit.

Terje Haakonsen and Ben Ferguson: Art of Carve

Cruising the groomers is one of the first things a snowboarder does, but also one of the hardest to really master. Lots of people can ride fast, but it's not until you see a guy like Terje Haakonsen effortlessly blast a huge method off of a nonexistent bump, or Ben Ferguson lay down an armpit dragging carve that you realize just what's possible on a regular old groomer. Riding fast, getting creative, and looking good doing it are a few of the things that can really show how good a pro snowboarder is.

In the world of superpipes, triple corks, massive wedges in the backcountry, it's easy to forget what snowboarding is really about: making the most out of natural terrain and having fun. Whether locking into a tripod, dragging your chin on a carve, or slashing your way into the whiteroom, there is a lot of fun that can be had riding the groomers. Watch as two guys on each end of the spectrum show how much fun you can have just ripping around the mountain. After seeing Terje's method 55 seconds in, or Ben's backside 360 tripod at 1:17, you will be left open-mouthed and shaking your head with a few more tricks added to your checklist.

Bohemia Rhapsody: Burton Knowbuddies Explore Michigan Powder

When people think of backcountry powder riding, their minds probably don't drift to the tippy top of Michigan. So when our inbox's got hit with this video of a couple Midwest Knowbuddies getting after it in some Upper Peninsula pow, we had to find out more. Google Map Mt. Bohemia, then zoom out, zoom out some more, then finally some more to realize how deep into the heart of the Great Lakes region this place is. After watching this video, trips to Mt. Bohemia were looked into. If you are still left in disbelief after watching this video, see what local Knowbuddies Ty Modz and Jake DeVries have to say about their experience.http://news.burton.com/?p=16717
